Our First Aid at Work Course is a comprehensive First Aid training course and is specifically delivered in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This training is delivered over 3 days, with delegates being continually assessed and a certificate awarded upon successful completion. We provide this course both in-house and as an open course, although we typically recommend the in-house option as it cheaper, and the training can be tailored to suit the specific requirements of each workplace.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work is an in-house comprehensive training programme suitable for staff in any sector, providing essential knowledge to ensure a safe working environment. The training is also available as an open course option, although the in-house version is recommended so that the training
can be tailored to suit the delegates’ workplace. The course is delivered in one day (6 hours) and delegates will be assessed throughout the whole day with a certificate awarded upon successful completion.

This course provides delegates with a general understanding of first aid and how to manage incidents safely. Training will ensure that delegates are able to act confidently in an emergency, identifying the cause, alerting the emergency services, and providing appropriate care until these services arrive. The course runs over half a day and delegates will be assessed throughout the session with a certificate awarded upon successful completion.

Our First Aid at Work Refresher course is designed for anyone who has previously completed the 3 initial First Aid at Work (3 day) qualification and needs to renew their certification. This refresher lasts 2 days and will renew their certification for a further 3 years before the course will again need to be retaken. This training is delivered both in-house and as an open course, although it’s recommended the in-house version as the training can be tailored to suit the specific requirements of your workplace.

Our courses meet all recommendations underlined by the HSE and provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to use what you have learned in an emergency situation.

As of March 2017, the law stipulates that only those holding a certificate in this course can be counted towards the required number of supervising adults in a childcare setting. This course meets Ofsted requirements by complying with the mandatory Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). It also ensures that you meet recommendations underlined by the HSE and provides you with the skills and confidence to use what you have learned in a real emergency.
